Why we exist
We don't quilt to make blankets.
We quilt to disappear for a while — into fabric, rhythm, and a room full of people who don't need an explanation for why the stash is "out of control."
The retreat is the purest form of that: a weekend away with the machine, the guild, the potluck and the late-night frogging. We started The Retreat Quilter to celebrate it — with tees that make fellow quilters grin from across the room.

Behind the logo
There's a cabin hiding in our quilt block.
Our mark is a sawtooth star — one of the first blocks so many of us ever pieced. Look closer and you'll find a little cabin window glowing at its heart: the retreat, the lamp left on for the late-night stitchers, the place where nobody asks why the stash is out of control.
Faded indigo, warm cream, terracotta and golden thread — the colors of a well-loved quilt on a cabin porch.
